I fixed these last night with your Coney Island BBQ Hot Dogs and the fries turned out nicely. They were good for something new to try.

This would go great with some burgers.
Thanks so much for your sweet comments! I’m so happy that “cutting the fat” is working for you! That’s what I continually do, and I never feel deprived or that anything is off limits–I just watch portions and take note of how much fat /sugar I’m eating and decide whether it’s worth it to me to have to work off any extra pounds I might add! it’s really a simple idea, and not hard at all. If I ever feel hungry for something decadent, I just eat something healthy first and take a small portion!-B
Hi Betty..just wanted to tell you since I’ve been watching your great videos, I have dropped about 8lbs in a few months. Have not changed my exercise routine or anything else. You have helped me so much to learn to cut the fat in so many ways! Thanks so much! My bottom thanks you too!

I knew you were, but I thought you might be giving the impression that I only open packages. I’ve been cooking since I was 12, so that’s about 48 years, and I’ve picked up a few ideas along the way. YouTube is a strange audience–anywhere from requests for gourmet fare to “How do I make rice?” –And, being me, I try to please everyone. I guess I should just try to please myself!!! Thanks for your continued viewing and for your input! i really do appreciate it!

Alex, those flavors sound wonderful! You have a knack for putting the right foods together. Please keep up your cooking channel. You are going to be great!

The melted cheese and bacon sounds great! You know I don’t do low fat always–just occasionally for viewers who want that. I’m glad your mini cheese cakes came out great–most people *do* love them! Thanks for the sweet feedback!

I have to try these. They look soooo good. I would add melted cheese and bacon, forget low-fat LOL. By the way, I took some of your cheese cakes to work and they LOVED them. Thanks.
i do something just like , with curry powder, or chili powder. somethimes when i want something hot i combine cayenne, garlic powder, chili powder, and fresh chilis that me and my dad grow in our backyard! it tastes great!
haha
I’m just messing with ya ….
Well, you can check my Homestyle Mashed Potatoes, Scalloped Potatoes with Cheese, Potato Soup,Potato, Broccoli, and Cheese Soup, just to name a few off the top of my head. The last time I did fries in the oven, I used fresh potatoes, and I wanted this dish to be different (to offer more options), so I used frozen steak fries. I’m sure you know that a lot of my audience is composed of people who are learning to cook, or have no time to cook, so they are looking for “quick & easy!” Keep looking!B
Yes, sometimes I wonder how I am ever going to slow down–I get so many requests, and I have so many favorite recipes, plus new ones that I think of, that my supply seems endless! But, cooking is my biggest hobby!
–Betty
Yes, these are very much lower in fat! They also are seasoned, so that’s a little bonus! Thanks for your comment!
