@jihadacadien – that’s so funny! I was thinking of the same thing. Now that I’ve discovered kale, I have more recipes to try, so decided I need to grow this! =))

Adding spinach and/or mushrooms is a great idea… and, ooooh, Bacon!! mmmm! That’s the fun part of cooking, getting creative with ingredients and flavors. I know yours are going to be good!

@ccm800, Ivy says you can try substituting with beef, mushroom or chicken stock. Thanks for asking – always good to get ideas what might work instead of what’s called for!

Big Potatoes. LOL – liked your “Atomic” Hot comment.

I’m gonna try with onions/spinach and shrooms. Then put a mixture of cheese and coarse chopped cooked bacon on top.
